Bible Studies
Study the Word with other women who want to go deeper in their faith! Women's Bible Studies are held Wednesday mornings and evenings. Our 2024 schedule runs from January 3rd thru May 8th. New participants are welcome to join at any time!
Classes are held on Wednesday mornings from 9-11am. Our 2024 schedule begins on January 3rd and offers three classes. All classes gather in LC210/212 at 9am for worship and announcements before breaking into smaller groups.
LifeLight: Life of David (beginning February 7th)
This study is part of the LifeLight Bible study series of in-depth studies of Bible books. This nine session study includes topics such as: A Messianic Mountaintop, David on the Field, David on the Run, David on the Rise, David on the Throne, David on the Edge, David under the Sword, David at the Last, David's Son, David's Lord. LifeLight: Life of David Study Guide is $10. Room 210/212, Led by Kathie Stocker
A Study in 1 and 2 Samuel (2 Samuel begins on Feb. 7th)
What does the history of Israel’s kings have to do with the Christian life today? You might be surprised! The Old Testament books of 1 and 2 Samuel trace the development of Israel’s monarchy from its establishment under the prophet Samuel through the reigns of the nation’s first kings, Saul and David. In this study, using three leading teachers, guiding us: Study book by Kay Gabrysch (22-year WBS leader) , Video with Michael DeFazio (New Testament & Hermeneutics Professor at Ozark Christian College) and we will hear also from Alistair Begg who walks us through books of 1 and 2 Samuel. Fruit of the Spirit (begins Feb. 7th)
The evening class will be led by Dixie Russo via ZOOM from 6:30-8pm. In January the class finished the 2-year study of The Bible Recap. A new study on Fruit of the Spirit begins on February 7th. Spring semester will run through April 24th with no class on Ash Wednesday or the Wednesday during Spring Break.

Women's Summer Bible Study
Join us for the Women's Summer Bible Study as we follow Kelly Minter on a 7-week journey of Encountering God! This study will help us increase our knowledge and understanding of spiritual disciplines as well as grow our discipline to practice them. Class is led by Renee Page and will include a study book and weekly handouts. The study book, Encountering God, can be ordered online through Lifeway or other resources, or you can contact Renee to order a copy through the church for $17.
Class will meet in the Chat Room on Wednesdays from 9-11am. Summer Bible study meets June 12th-July 31st with no class the week of July 4.

Homeless Mat Ministry
Help us make plastic mats for the homeless! Learn how to prepare plastic bags that will be crocheted into mats for the homeless. You do NOT need to know how to crochet to participate - there are plenty of ways to help! Group meets on the first Thursday of each month from 9am-12pm in the Gloria Dei Life Center. Casual Gatherings
The ladies of Gloria Dei get together occasionally just for fellowship — no agenda required! Join us for a casual come-and-go style gathering and get to know other women from Gloria Dei! Our next gathering will be Thursday March 23rd beginning at 5:30pm at Hyde Park Kitchen + Bar on Nasa Parkway! We'll gather on the patio and enjoy some Bretzel and other yummy treats! Address is 247 Nasa Parkway (in the strip center near the corner of Nasa/Hwy 3).
Come have a glass of tea or wine and relax while getting to know other ladies at Gloria Dei!
Widows Walk with God
Widows Walk with God is support group for widows. Ladies will be connected with a group leader who will reach out to them at least once per month. Small groups meet monthly and the entire Widows Walk group will get together once per quarter. If interested, please contact Judy Staliwe.
Discipleship Adventures
Day Adventure - High Island April 20th
Who is up for going to High Island and doing a day of prayers, devotions, walking, and bird watching? Grab your binoculars, your bird book, your bird call app, your sneakers, and plan to join us for a day of walking in God's creation with some Christian sisters. The trip is planned for Saturday, April 20th, but you'll need to contact Lori Knutson for additional details (where to meet, when, etc.).

Weekend Adventures
Women's Discipleship Adventure weekends are planned each year for camping, hiking and time outdoors in God's creation! Weekend trips include amazing fellowship and a devotion. A short trip for the fall is being discussed. Contact Lori Knutson to be added to the WDA email distribution list. All women are invited to join. Physical exertion level for weekend activities is moderate to difficult unless otherwise stated in the registration.
Saturday Walk-n-Talk - May 18th @ 7am
Due to the Day Trip in April our next Walk-n-Talk will be scheduled for May 18th. Consider joining us on April 20th for a Day Trip to High Island!
