Welcome
When people think of a church, they often think of a place or a building. When you visit Gloria Dei, we hope you will think of people. Gloria Dei is made up of people who have been forgiven and redeemed by Jesus. Our ministries provide opportunities to strengthen and grow your faith, while developing meaningful relationships. We want you to experience the acceptance, significance and purpose we believe that God has promised for our lives. We are a group of people committed to helping more people live life with Jesus every day, and we would love for you to join us this Sunday to experience it for yourself.
Join us this Sunday for worship at 10am.
What to Expect
From the moment you walk in the building, you can expect a heartfelt greeting and opportunities to connect and grow as a disciple of Christ.
Service Times
We offer a 10am service this Sunday in the Worship Center.
We will be giving thanks to God for His immeasurable love for us in response to the Capital Campaign, and announce the total commitment made. Join us as we kick off the first Sunday of fulfilling your pledges—let's make a Kingdom difference together!
This 10am service will have the best of all three regular services, with Español translation devices available at the sound booth. After the service, pick up a mini pie in the Worship Center Commons!
Our Beliefs
Gloria Dei is a congregation of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. As Lutheran Christians, we celebrate and live out three basic tenants of our salvation:
- Grace Alone: Our salvation is based on the free gift of God’s grace. Through His grace, God offers us a new start, and a new life in Him, in this present world and for eternity with Him in heaven.
- Faith Alone: God's gift of grace is received through faith in what Jesus has done for us. Jesus suffered and died, to purchase and win forgiveness and eternal life for each of us. Those who hear and believe this have the eternal life that it offers.
- Scripture Alone: The Bible is God's inerrant and infallible Word, in which He reveals His Law and His Gospel of salvation in Jesus Christ.
Discipleship Hour
We encourage and welcome families to worship together on Sunday mornings as well as time to grow in their faith in environments designed around their ages and learning levels. We have dedicated time on Sunday mornings for devotion and obedience to God's Word with age-appropriate discipleship for kids, students and adults between services from 9:45-10:45am.
Communion
Communion is generally observed on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays of each month in addition to special liturgical days such as Christmas Eve, Holy Week, and Easter.
