LifeLight: REVELATION

Understanding the book of Revelation, written in apocalyptic literature style, history is seen as a cosmic battleground in which the forces of good and evil contend for final control of the earth and its inhabitants.  Satan and his hosts seem to gain the upper hand.  However, Victory belongs to God and His hosts, as the forces of evil, which have been overcome by Christ on the cross, are ultimately destroyed.  The real purpose of the book of Revelation is to give comfort to Christians at all times.  When God’s people fear that the world is raging out of control, they see here that God is always in control of history. Come join us as we hear the “The Triumphant Christ“  speak to His church through all the chapters of Revelation to the final chapter of “Our Victorious Lord Reigns Forever”.  LifeLight: Revelation Study Guide cost $10.  Room 210/212,  Led by Kathie Stocker

Teachings John’s Epistles

The apostle John’s letters to the Christians of the ancient world tackles issues of false teaching, sin, and atoning work in Jesus Christ. The epistles of John proclaims the good news of the Lord to which John testified. He reminds us that as we face the temptations of false teaching in our day, we need to be ready to test everything against the Scriptures and to examine ourselves. Using warnings from the apostle John that deceivers can be identified by their view of Christ and the diversion of their teaching from Christ. When we are firmly grounded in the truth of God’s Word, we will not so easily be led away.   Bible: John 1, 2, 3   No cost. Room 214  Led by Mary Fricke
