Identity Crisis: From Family Member to Geriatric Caregiver

Are you an unexpected caregiver for an aging family member? Learn how to identify strategies and resources to support you in that new role and still maintain your identity in the process. Robyn Horn with H.I.S. Cornerstone has a Masters in Gerontology/Long Term Care Administration as she also cares for her 75 year old mom. Join other caregivers in an informative morning that includes time for questions at Gloria Dei Lutheran church, 18220 Upper Bay Road, Nassau Bay Texas. Learn how music can impact the brain and body in unexpected ways – how it affects our health, our moods and memories. Antonio Milland Santiago, MT with Houston Methodist Hospital experienced the dramatic changes both personally and professionally when music therapy was used in a variety of settings with patients and care receivers.
