The U-haul of hurricane recovery supplies Gloria Dei collected arrived at Atonement Lutheran Church in Metairie, LA on September 21 to help them serve the greater NOLA community recover from Hurricane Ida. The truck included much needed cleaning supplies, toiletries, food, water and much more. These supplies were distributed by Atonement Lutheran Church in a couple ways:

  1. A community distribution at their church on Saturday, September 25 including a hot meal for each family.
  2. Sending supplies on to Lafitte, LA. This community was hit hard by Hurricane Ida and is still struggling to even receive supplies. They are relying on churches and organizations for assistance.

Thank you so much for your generosity that will continue to bless the families at Atonement and those in their community that they serve!
