LERT Disaster Assessment Training

Join us on Sunday, September 8th from 12:30-2:30pm as we learn best practices for assessing damage after a storm. Volunteers will learn about the two levels of assessment. What kind of damage is present in a community, what is appropriate for LERT teams to respond to, and what kind of equipment do we need for each location. Kathy O-Day from Lutheran Church Charities will share her experience and best practices from serving in multiple disasters across the US.
It is preferred that if Assessment training is taken that Basic training is taken that evening.
