Impact Week 2024
Serving High School Middle School
Impact Week, June 24-27, 9am to 3pm, is a four-day serving initiative for our incoming 5th grade through finishing 12 grade to serve right in their own community. We are working with various ministry partners in developing projects for our youth. Below are some of the serving projects for our youth with our ministry partners.
- Hope Village: Play games with special needs group
- Nassau Bay: Paint street address numbers on curbs in front of houses so emergency response can see the address numbers.
- Lighthouse ministry: Packing of soft food bags for Seniors
- Joy Comfort dog outreach: Packing of nurse bags
- Galveston Food Bank
- Crossroads: Feeding homeless & food bank
- Free Community car wash
Amazon Wishlist for Impact Week
Part of our time together will be spent packing bags for some of our favorite ministry partners like: HCA Nursing Staff, Lighthouse Christian Ministry Senior Citizens, and Orphan Grain Train. Before we pack these bags, however, a lot of supplies needs to be gathered.

Monday-Thursday Work Days
Each day starts with a devotion and plan for the day in the Life Center. After that students will be broken up into work teams for the day. We will have a mix of projects inside and outside so there will be something for everyone. After our work time is finished, we will return to the church for lunch followed by a time of worship.
Cost: $15 a day - Covers food and supplies each day.

Adults (ages 21+) who are interested/able to help with driving students to/from their serving locations, leading projects on a worksite, check-in or supervise lunch preparation can sign up using the link below. Drivers and project leaders will be asked to stay for the duration of the work that morning, but can leave at lunch time if needed. While the preference is that you serve for the whole week, you are also able to select what days you are available.
