Kids Hope Mentors Keep Commitment to Students through COVID
This school year our Kids Hope mentors at Whitcomb Elementary stayed connected with their students through a monthly pen pal program. The mentors wrote letters to their students each month and often included fun, seasonal worksheet activities. A few students wrote back.
The mentors ended the year by delivering personalized and meaningful Summer Boredom Buster tubs that were filled with books, writing activities, outdoor activities, crafts, a boredom jar, and even a microwave s’mores kit.
Thank you Kids Hope mentors for your flexibility and commitment to these students at Whitcomb Elementary this year! Your servant hearts and passion for these kids is evident and a powerful way to shine Jesus' light in our local community.
