45th Annual Shrimp Boil and Benefit Auction
Don't miss the largest, adult social event of the year!
All you can eat and drink — shrimp, sausage, potatoes, corn, dessert, beer and more! Buy a ticket, AND donate at least one nice item or service for the auction. Proceeds are distributed to selected beneficiaries to help families in need. Through the years, this event has raised over $700,000 to help more than 180 beneficiaries in need!
If you can't make it by 5pm, just show up when you can! Bring yourself, your auction donations, and your checkbook for your auction purchases.
Adult members of Gloria Dei and their guests are invited! No children, please.
Purchase tickets on-line for $20/person by Sunday, October 1. On October 7, tickets will be $25/person at the door, unless they sell out first.
The highlight of the evening involves the auction of gifts, donated by everyone who attends! Donate at least one nice item or service, per couple. New/used merchandise, or services (dinner, babysitting, repairs) are appreciated. No junk please! Bring all donated items to the auction on October 7, or drop-off your items at the church office during office hours, if you cannot attend the auction.
Volunteers and Donations
Thank you to all of the people who have purchased tickets and volunteered to assist with the upcoming Shrimp Boil. Donations for the Shrimp Boil Auction can be dropped off at the front office or brought the day of the event.
So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. 1 Corinthians 10:31
