Mountain Mover Prayer Workshop

Most of us would agree that prayer is a conversation with God. And it is! But prayer is also so much more.
Gloria Dei is hosting a two-day event (Friday evening and Saturday morning) called Mountain Mover Prayer Workshop to help people grow in their prayer lives. Attendees will learn about topics such as: our purpose in prayer, how our beliefs and emotions affect how we pray, how to surrender in prayer, how to speak God's Truth, and how to ask God boldly without arrogance. The workshop will be broken into four sessions demonstrating how to transform a simple prayer into a mountain-moving, Scripture-filled prayer that honors God and builds faith in the person who prays it! Each session also includes an amazing testimony on the power of prayer.
Participants will receive a workbook to be used throughout the workshop for personal and table exercises. Participants will NOT be required to pray out loud. Cost is $10 to cover snacks and materials. The workshop is open to anyone who prays - men, women, small groups, etc. You may register for individual seats or reserve an entire table ($80 for 8 people) to ensure your group can sit together.

The event takes place on Friday, September 29th from 5:30-9pm and Saturday, September 30th from 8:30am-12:30pm. Doors will open 30 minutes early each day. Workshop will be held in the Student Center Gym and will include snacks.
