Impact Week

Our incoming 5th grade through graduated 12th grade students are invited to join us for a week of serving the Gloria Dei community.  We will have opportunities to serve at local community gardens, in homeless shelters and resource centers, and even take a day to let you serve however you wish! We start the day with a devotion before we head out to serve in various places and then we end our day with lunch and a debrief of all that we did! 

The Student Center will open Monday-Thursday at 8am to accommodate parent's work schedules and early drop off needs. 

High school students have the opportunity to make an Impact by serving at "Kidz Dayz." This is a VBS-style event in Bacliff each morning from July 17-21. Interested high school students should check the box for this when they register online. Students will be selected to serve based on need. Note: If selected, there will be a mandatory training prior to Impact Week and students will need to arrive by 7:30am each day.

The cost of the week is $30.  This covers all meals for the week and any transportation needs that we may have.  We will start and end each day in the Student Center. Parents are invited to join us on Thursday for the lunch and debrief portion for an additional $5/person.
